Strategy/policy Development
SoCH facilitates not only development but also provides timely review of Organizational/ Project strategies/ polices. We provide Strategies (Organizational/program/project) which are a visionary document considering external and internal environment that guide the organization and its team for better and coherent implementation of its actions. These strategies briefly define the domains, sub domain, operational plan, resources planning, and principles etc. that have direct or indirect impact on the Organization/program/project goal. SoCH offers sector specific strategy and program design, review of existing programs and strategies based on the current national and international policies for social development issues.
Capacity Building and Training
At SoCH we believe in optimal utilization of resources and hence promote custom-made capacity building programs followed by specific need assessment on technical and management aspects. The capacity building services intend to build and polish skills, knowledge and practice of its partners. SoCH conducts training on the basis of detailed evaluation and then developing specific training modules on the basis of that. We also provide knowledge visits accompanied by learning assessment tools and conclude with training evaluation for an end to end service.
Research
SoCH offers thematic, system focused and exploratory research services which include needs assessment (to align needs of beneficiaries), base line studies (to know status of particular issue or service prior to service initiation), end line studies (comparative study against base line at the end of intervention), on-going action studies (to improve implementation and corrective actions) and impact assessment studies (to understand and measure the change brought through the intervention). Our team is well versed with quantitative, qualitative and participatory research techniques.
Project Development Continuum
SoCH supports its partners to translate ideas/ concepts into in novative project/s through conceiving/formulation support. It offers backstop support for desk research or field based research, consultations with stakeholders, and formation of projects scaling up on the chosen strategic domains.
Communication, Visibility and Documentation
Team SoCH offers services related to communication strategy development and visibility of organization/project and its actions. We provide our support to establish and facilitate the systems of communication and visibility for external and internal stakeholders. We also design and develop varied tools for communication and visibility (e.g. brochures, website, and target based communication strategies and documentation tools) through print, audio, video, internet and mobile enabled formats. SoCH also offers technology led awareness program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation services. Along with the above mentioned services we also provide services for project report writing, annual report writing, activity/workshop/training report writing, design and printing services.
Management Services
Monitoring and Evaluation
SoCH offers services on key stages of project management by indicator lead systems of concurrent monitoring and evaluation. It supports all types of monitoring and evaluation practices such as process based, impact focused, project based, community based and time based (midterm, end of the project) evaluations.
Decentralized Planning
SoCH offers support to develop village, district and state level participatory planning services for national or state specific development schemes/ programs. It directly supports to evolve comprehensive development plans in alignment of national/international programs.
Knowledge and Information Management
SoCH offers support for development of systems within organization to capture knowledge generated out of implementation which help for universal dissemination and sharing learning. SoCH provides services for design, development and maintenance of project/organization based manual/ software based systems.
Quality Assurance
SoCH supports on development of systems to ensure quality aspects of project or organization management. The quality assurance system includes conducting target group feedback or opinion collection, development and adherence to quality indicators. SoCH offers services for facilitation and implementation of government and funding agencies programs through management of its partner(s) through partner identification, appraisal, selection, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation. SoCH offers establishment of project/ program management and technical support unit which manages implementation as per government and funding agencies guidelines.
Human Resource, Finance, Adminstration Management
SoCH offers services for assessment of human resource systems, tools for human resource engagement and their development. It includes human resource planning, recruitment, appraisal, legal compliances, development of terms and conditions for engagement for internal and external resources for social development sector stakeholders. Along with this, SoCH also provide services to strengthen financial control systems, budgeting and forecasting, monitoring, financial information management, expenditure commitment policies and systems, and resource allocation systems, procurement, logistics, vendor management, record maintenance and data base keeping.
Event Management
SoCH offers services for management of events related to social responses of Government, funding agencies and corporate houses. It includes planning, facilitation, implementation, reporting and follow up of events related to social issues.
